Story

In June 2019, I will be going to Swaziland, in Southern Africa, on a World Challenge Expedition. For this, I will be trekking for 3-4 days through mountain ranges and forests with a group of students from my school and from a school in Sunderland. After this trek, we will be staying with the local residents and helping to maintain and add to the community centre for orphaned children, due to the widespread HIV and Aids epidemic , in which Swaziland is the worst infected country in the world. During this expedition, we will have to work on a budget with limited resources, finding our own food and taking in the African culture. Any money to help with my £2,850 fee would be greatly appreciated ( not including jabs and equipment etc.). Any jobs people require i would be happy to do. So far for my fundraising, I have been working in a tea room and delivering papers, along with fundraising activities with my group. I am greatly looking forwards to it and thank you for taking the time to read my story.
