11 years ago , after I had my son, I had Postpartum Psychosis and in my darkest hours , while I was in a psychiatric mother and baby unit, a kind woman who I had never met, wrote me a letter to say she had been ill after having a baby and promised me I would get better. I
A couple of years ago, my dear friend Liv set up the INCREDIBLE Letters of Light Project which supports women who have recovered from maternal mental illness to write letters to those currently experiencing it. I met Liv through our shared lived experience of Postpartum Psychosis and I am am so blown away by her passion and commitment to support mums and help them see the light and see they will get better, that I want to do something to help raise money for the project.

Letters are currently being sent to NHS trusts, charities, mother and baby units and so many more places , to provide peer support to mums when they really need it.

So, I will be pulling up my big pants, tucking in my c section overhang and sellotaping my boobs down as I embark on running 100 miles in between 20th May and 20th June. Can this be done by walking back and forth to the fridge ? I hope so.

Please mangle some change and support me to run all this way and raise money for the Letters of Light Project!
