Help Me Fight for More Time

Hi, my name is Ewelina Wilson.

Almost five years ago, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Two years later, I received devastating news — the cancer had spread to my ovaries, organs, and peritoneal wall. Despite exhausting all the treatment options offered to me through the National Health Service, including three different lines of chemotherapy, my cancer continues to progress.

My oncologist has given me a prognosis of up to 12 months to live.

But I am not ready to give up.

Apart from being a woman fighting cancer, I am also a wife, a mum to a wonderful teenage daughter, and an equestrian. For the past six years, I have worked as a groom and produced my own horse. Horses have taught me resilience, courage, and that when you fall, you get back up and try again. They’ve shown me that there is always another way.

And I believe there is another way for me too.

After extensive research, I have found an innovative treatment in Germany, and I am due to attend my first appointment on Wednesday 25th. This treatment gives me hope — hope for more time, hope for remission, hope to continue being here for my family.

Unfortunately, this treatment is not funded, and all costs must be covered privately. Between flights, accommodation, clinic fees, and multiple rounds of treatment followed by follow-up appointments, the expenses are overwhelming. I am terrified that my savings will quickly run out before I can complete the full course of care.

That is why I am asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to continuing this fight. Every share of this page means the world to me. I don’t want to die — not yet. I believe in the possibility of remission. I still have dreams.

I want to see my daughter achieve her dream of becoming a horse jockey.
I want to ride my horse again.
I want more time with my family.
