Thurrock-based business Explore Modulars Fundraiser!!

🏃‍♂️Running for Treetops SEN School!

Thurrock’s very own Stu Whiffen (52) — Pre-Construction Manager at Explore Modular and self-confessed “reluctant runner” — will be taking on a half marathon (21.1km) on Wednesday 3rd December to raise £500 for Treetops Special Educational Needs School in Grays.

Treetops does truly incredible work providing care, education, and support for children with a wide range of learning needs. Inspired by their dedication (and possibly some mild bullying from my boss George), Stu is dusting off his old man running shoes to help raise funds for their wonderful education projects.

Stu says:

“Growing up in Grays, I’ve known staff and friends whose children have gone to Treetops, and I’ve seen first-hand the amazing work they do. Their positivity and commitment are genuinely inspiring — I just wanted to do something to give back… even if it means a few blisters and sore knees along the way!”

Every penny raised will go directly towards the resources, activities, and opportunities that make Treetops such a special place for its pupils and their families.
