Story

Dear friends, brothers and sisters,

I did it!!!!!!!!!!!! I have successfully passed the finish line in the Manchester half Marathon. Now we are soo close, to hitting our target.

I am raising money for the children of Yemen.

Four Years of civil war has shattered the country of Yemen and has caused one of the world's worst humanitarian crises. 24 million people (80% of Yemen's population) are in need of humanitarian aid whilst according to the UN, 14 million people (half the population) face imminent famine.

No one is more affected than the children of Yemen. Currently there are 360,000 children under the age of 5 who are malnourished in the country. These children are in need of immediate help. Especially now with a lack of clean water and sanitation, Yemen is currently dealing with the world's largest outbreak of Cholera in recent history.

I am collecting funds for IHH UK (Islamic helping hands), a UK registered charity based in London and who are currently working on the ground in Yemen. The charities' works in Yemen revolve around delivering food supplies as well as clean water. Another main focus is helping the children and orphans; providing them with safe shelter, nourishment and educational equipment. They work in partnership with local organisations within Yemen.

We accept Zakah, Sadaqah as well as monthly donations. Please donate generously, share this page with friends/colleagues, and most importantly, pray for the people of Yemen along with all the other war/poverty stricken countries.

Thank you,

Eymen
