    Story

From age 7 Fiona was an avid brass musician, who had adored music since she could walk. As a teenager she was a French Horn player in her county youth orchestra, and this led her into the Royal College of Music. The happy memories and strong friendships she found through her orchestral experiences she carried with her right until she died. This passion was passed onto her daughter, who likewise found the best part of her youth in an orchestra.

Ealing Youth Orchestra brings this gift of music to young people from all over West London and EYO's Bursary Fund helps families who might otherwise struggle to afford membership fees to enrol their talented children in the orchestra. They can realise their full potential in rehearsals, concerts and on tour, and make lifelong friendships.

The orchestra receives no public funding and is a Registered Charity (No. 3454059).

It was a cause very close to Fiona's heart. Please help us and DONATE today.

    Thank you so much.

It has been an incredibly humbling experience, watching the donations flood in. The total raised so far, from all sources, has now topped £8,500. Words fail me and your generosity is amazing. If you would like to increase the donation you have already made by 25% why not complete this GiftAid form (specially devised by EYO, for Fiona's Appeal) and the Chancellor of the Exchequer will stump up the extra. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1c-D_r1YfmKhbwttS4bWsSGIxKa3PZBHGgK53bPbI2Bk/viewform?edit_requested=true Thank you so much. Can't think of a better way for Fiona's spirit to live on that through the music she loved and the young musicians who will now be supported. With love, Richard and Julia
