Story

A lot of you may have seen the News lately and seen the devastation which have been caused by this deadly Volcano of Fire.

Hi...My name is Ezel and I am 37 years old. I come from a family which consist of my mum and dad and I am the oldest of 3 siblings.

My mum and my 3 other siblings moved to the UK in November 1995, after escaping the civil war. We had no choice but to leave my papa behind, as he was in the miming trade and this was his only form of income. He lives in a very small village just on the outskirts of Fuego.

I am so very saddened to learn that my country is again going through heart ache and this time through a natural disaster.

There is a very large mountain there, which I always knew was active so could explode at any given time, but we never would imagine this kind of horror.

So far, 69 people have lost their lives.

My papa fortunately is still alive, as we last spoke through text message on this evening (05.06.2018), but our family home which survived the war is now under serious threat with the constant lava pouring out thick from the top.

Not just our home, but everyone in the village is under threat, All my school friends which I once grew up with and their families. Most of them elderly.

I am raising £1000 to send back home to Guatemala to help the people with essentials, such as food, clothing, cooking utensils and roof over their heads.

I would be very grateful if you can give what you can.

I will keep you updated with the progress.

Thank You for your kindness, in advance.

God Bless you all.

Ezel.
