I'm raising £1000 to fund an emergency replacement wheelchair

Story

Hey, my names Ezra (he/they), I'm a 20 year old archaeology student and a fulltime power wheelchair user due to multiple conditions I have. I currently have a PRIDE GO powerchair, but issues with the battery have left me in an emergency situation where my wheelchair may stop working at any time. Replacing the batteries has so far not fixed the issue, and to identify and fix the issue will cost more money than my chair is worth. Unfortunately, the type of wheelchair I need will cost upwards of £1000, and as I am a vulnerable person unable to work currently, I cannot cover these costs alone.

I am trying to raise as much money as possible in order to get the right wheelchair to properly support my body. Without it, I can't leave the house, I am constantly fatigued, my pain is much worse, my joints dislocate more and I am entirely dependent on others to support me. With a wheelchair, I am able to go to university, do my own shopping, socialize, travel, and live a full life (with the right support in place)!

Due to chronic pain, joint instability and my seizure disorder, I require specific features in a wheelchair to properly support my body and prevent further pain or potential injury from seizure activity, but this just increases the cost. This means that the goal for this fundraiser is much higher, and thought I don't expect to hit the whole goal, any money you can spare will make a huge difference! If you would like to help in other ways, please consider sharing this, on social media or amongst friends and family. Thank you so much, stay punk!
