Help save our mum's leg to save her life, with a lifesaving operation for lymphedema and Necrosis Medical treatment Appeal...

Hello everyone, this is my mum Mrs Farah, Fadumo Farah. I would like to ask for you help with a small donation to enable our mum to have a series of operations to save her leg and her life. Our mum suffered a gunshot injury from the Somalia civil war 23 years ago, when our home was raided, and from which she is still suffering today. Her lymphatic system is completely damaged causing Lymphedema. Over the years our mother has been in constant pain, with swelling of the whole leg.

We love our mum so much I can put it into words. Our mum is an incredible woman, helpful to everyone and a great mother. She never complains or make a fuss about her long term injuries. We all really want to help her.

Recently, she developed Necrosis, which means our mum has had the first of many surgeries to remove dead flesh, which destroyed the tissue of her leg. She is going to have more of these operations, because the medical facilities are not available. But with your donation, our mum can have a clinical operation, within well-equipped medical facilities, that can improve her health and independence and livelihood and reduce the risk of further infection.

The operations are expensive and she cannot afford the cost of travel or the surgical operations abroad. We want to help her by crowdfunding, please let’s get our mum her operation, a £1 or 2 or even $1 or 2 can go a long way to help this lady. Lymphedema and Necrosis are overlooked disabling conditions, that can affect many people and have secondary conditions associated with cancer.
