Story

My niece Faiha has had kidney disease for over 10 years, she was diagnosed at the age of 14. Since both her kidneys failed, she has been on dialysis treatment for the last 4 years. That's 4 hours a day 3 times a week hooked up to a blood cleaning machine. Dialysis is no longer working for her. While in Bangladesh I met with her doctors, they are very worried for her as she has regular haemorrhages, Allah knows how long anyone has but they have given a very short time without a transplant. I find it hard to type this and she is going through this with her family everyday. She needs a transplant as soon as possible.
She is only 24 years old. She is still moving forward with her life, she continues to study her business degree. She has always scored high in all her exams. She makes jewellery at home. She is a member of the debating society at her university. She still has a smile on her face but behind that you and I can only imagine what this young lady is going through. Please help me help her get that transplant. Please understand her family and extended family have been donating for the last 10 years for her treatment. They are under a great deal of pressure and totally exhausted financially. For the transplant we need to send her to India and the whole process will cost £35000. Kindly donate whatever amount you can. A typical patient will live 10 to 15 years longer with a kidney transplant than if kept on dialysis.
It has been recommended that a living donor transplant is the best-case scenario to continue
living a healthy life, at least a chance to live. My niece lives in Bangladesh so you can understand she does not have the privilege of NHS. So again I implore to you please donate what you can for her. Please remember this is not a Zakat case.
