The boys are taking part in the 3 peaks challenge in order to raise funds for the 2021/22 season. We appreciate that times are hard for individuals and company’s at the minute so rather than look for lump sums as sponsors we are going to challenge ourselves and look we for small donations from family and friends of the club.

The 3 peaks challenge consists of 20 players and management climbing Scarfell Pike (978m), Helvellyn (950m) and Skiddaw (931m). We are setting a 12 hour time limit on it to make it as hard as possible. The lads will have played a league fixture the day before so this is by no means easy and will be a challenge in every sense of the word.

We like to pride ourselves on being a community club. Every single one of the lads have put their hands in their pockets and given their time when we have placed a situation in front of them where someone is in need. We are firm believers in what goes around comes around which is why we hope our friends and family back us in this challenge as much as possible.
