Weʼve raised £50 to help to start a charity fund raising Food Festival that promotes local suppliers in aid of Brian House childrens hospice

Funded on Wednesday, 15th August 2018

    Story

The idea of a food festival helps the community in 4 ways:

    1. Raise money for childrens charity Brian House

    2. Help promote Fairhaven Lake as a tourist destiantion

    3. Promote local business and musical talents

    4. Offer a free fun event for the public to enjoy

It takes hundreds of unpaid hours to create an event such as this. We need your help for the things we can’t offer ourselves. Toilets, generators and gazebo hire for example, cost hundreds of pounds. The public love an event but don’t like to be charged an entrance fee. We had the idea to raise the money by charging the food and drink vendors to attend and showcase their goods. Please make a donation to help us get this off the ground. The more people that come and buy food and drink the more we raise for Brian House but the basic pre-event costs such as those mentioned above need donations.
