The Friends of Clifton Country Park raised the funds for this fantastic Fairy Tale Trail, a sculpture trail around the lake at Clifton, which includes 10 sculptures: an owl, fox, squirrel, pig, wood sprite, witch, fairy house, eagle, bear, and beast of the woods. When the trail was finished, hundreds of people came down to walk around the lake with their families and friends, enjoying being outdoors in a safe and lovely place. It survived intact until last week, when sadly, the owl was stolen and the fox was vandalised. The Friends group want to keep the sculpture trail intact for as long as possible for the community to enjoy, but they need more money to replace or repair the sculptures. Can the community step in and help out?
