Fallen Britannia’s October Tea Party is in aid of Befrienders Worldwide, a charity that supports global efforts to offer mental health support across the globe.

When we booked this event, we did not have a confirmed charitable cause in mind. Then, sadly, tragedy struck the Fallout community when a widely beloved member, Chris Mumford, was lost to suicide.

After discussion with the NCR detachment he helped to found, and indirect engagement with family and friends, they very graciously agreed to let us dedicate this event to his memory and recommended a cause in aid of Mental Health among the charitable causes they hoped to encourage fundraising for.

We chose Befrienders Worldwide to ensure our contribution reaches beyond our own borders- to help people around the world, not just at home.

We chose JustGiving as a reputable and transparent platform, which enables supporters to see exactly how much has been raised and to see where it actually goes.

As Befrienders Worldwide cannot receive funds directly from JustGiving, all fundraising for this event will be closed on Sunday 23 October, with funds withdrawn to a holding account and then donated within 5 Working Days of receipt.

This event and fundraising page, due to being designated as a charity fundraising effort, are subject to regulation by the fundraising regulator.
