Story
Hi everyone
This is Fallùin and he's 9 months old. From word go Fallùin always had problems trying to latch to enable him to feed. At 6 weeks old he was loosing weight, and was admitted to hospital and fitted with a nasal gastric feeding tube. At 11 weeks old we were told that Fallùin aspirated his fluids and that time would tell on wether he would be able to feed and drink like a normal child.
Our journey so far has been tough and challenging, Fallùin had to be fed a special type of milk, which he had issues tolerating, he's had sporadic bowl movements, and reacted so bad to all the tapes that at one point his NG tube has eaten into his face. Now he's getting older he continuously pulls his tube out and has to go through the trauma of having it re passed multiple times a week. Hes lethargic and shows no interest in feeding or drinking despite the interventions made at the hospital. Oral aversions are not very well recognised, and we are desperately seeking for Fallùin to see a specialist in this area. We have found one in Birmingham and the other in Austria......But as I'm sure you will all realise this is going to cost a fair amount of money and isn't going to be a short journey. We are hoping to raise funds to help us get Fallùin seen by the professionals who have key knowledge in this specialist area to get our precious little boy the support he needs.
Thank you for taking the time to read Fallùin story, any donations are greatfully received.
