Weʼve raised £355 to give basic necessities and feed 150 children from less fortunate families affected by fire and typhoon in Muntinlupa City, Philippines.

Funded on Friday, 16th December 2016

    Story

Last year, the small organisation we built called F.A.M.I.L.Y (Fight Against Malnutrition! I love youth!), has fed 200+ children belonging to indigenous families in Ternate, Cavite Philippines. The countless blessings we received from every donations, made the feeding program a success.

That is why this year, once again, F.A.M.I.L.Y aims to help 150 children from the less fortunate families affected by the recent fire in Bayanan, Muntinlupa City. These families has not recovered from the fire yet. Unfortunately, a week after that, Super typhoon Haima striked Philippines. (October 19, 2016)

I chose Muntinlupa because this place is close to my heart. I grew up in this community (Bayanan, Muntinlupa). I personally know some of the people affected by the fire. It is so heart breaking, that they have to experience this especially that Christmas is coming.

This is the reason why I am asking you to extend your helping hand in order to raise fund, and to be able to feed these children from the families affected by fire. The essential stuff like clothes, school supplies, toys, shoes are also needed.

If the target was reached, £2 will be allotted for every children. It is enough to provide them a hot meal like what we did last year. If we are fortunate to have excess money, this will be used to buy basic necessities such as toiletries and school supplies.

This will be held on January 1, same day as the feast of Muntinlupa. The day we will celebrate a new beginning. A campaign to stop hunger, and to stop malnutrition. It is a whole day event of nutritious food, gift giving and fun games just for these children to not just aid their hunger, but psychologically help them forget the tragic event.

I am asking you for your kindness and support.
We assure you , that this will make a difference in every children.

    God Bless x

      Update from the Page owner

Thank you all so much for your generous donations. The money we've raised will be used to buy nutritious foods and essential gifts to be given to the less fortunate children. Team family are currently packing the donated clothes, shoes, bags etc. shipped directly from the UK. However, we are still continuously doing fundraising events like cake sale and garage sale. Also, 15 indigent families of Muntinlupa City are selected to receive (Noche Buena) Package this coming Christmas. Many thanks, Team F.A.M.I.L.Y

Great news! Since we have reached our goal for the feeding program, the fundraising is extended until the 16th of December! So we increased our target and thought of more ways to help people this Christmas. We chose 10 unfortunate families who will receive a Christmas Noche Buena (Christmas Eve dinner) Package, so they could have nutritious food to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones. We will post more details soon. God Bless everyone and a big thank you for all your help xx
