Story
Ndomo Fishing Camp - Zimbabwe
I stepped on the small island, met and experienced the lives of people living on the island. It was the plight of children which touched me. I am a father, and my children are in the same age range as these children. Lives depend on selling fish, so adults and children are not malnourished but they lack education and children's health need improvement and surveillance. Transport to mainland is expensive. I bought a boat engine, for emergencies to ferry children to mainland clinics. Education is non-existent except for the teenagers who have to train and start fishing for themselves. I cant imagine in this century there is still such deprivation, hence I ask for your help.
