Story

Established over 150 years ago, Farley is a thriving and well-managed village club, set in a beautiful location. We run three adult teams, two of which compete in the Hampshire Cricket League – the world’s largest cricket league. Our playing membership of more than 60 active players comprises several nationalities, is aged from 13 to over 70, and includes women as well as men.

The club also runs a thriving programme for juniors (boys and girls), including the national All Stars (5-8 year olds) and Dynamos (8-11 year olds) programmes, plus coaching and competitive cricket for 11-15 year olds. We are now also starting to offer women's softball.

This busy programme of activity ensures Farley Cricket Club is a valuable resource for the local community, as well as a great chance for young people to get involved in competitive sport and for older people to stay involved.

Like many other small village organisations, however, we are combating the ongoing challenge of rising running costs and ageing facilities. The Club have ambitious plans to redevelop these in the years to come but need to raise significant funding for the upgrades. Please help us on our journey either by donating directly on this page, or consider sponsoring the club. If you are interested in sponsoring the club please contact Iain
