A Farmer in Need

A good friend of mine has found themselves to be very ill with cancer. The diagnosis of Stage IV Bowel Cancer came earlier this year to Bill. He is 43 years old, and a farmer by trade. Currently unable to work due to the effects of his treatment, I have set this page up independently and out of pure support and care. Bill does not know about this private effort at the moment. I hope to surprise him next year. I'm not aware what similar individuals ask people to donate in these cases, but I do know this money would be greatly received and be more than appreciated. I believe in good deeds, and since his diagnosis, I have opened myself up more to those around me. I try to make this devastating news have some positive angle - even if it is not going to directly effect Bill. Next spring I hope to do a walk with friends and fellow charity fundraisers, to raise more support. I have always been considered a caring individual, yet I feel that energy within me more than I ever have done before. Right now, helping others seems to be how I am dealing with this. I hope that if you are reading this that you can feel that too, and anything at all that you could donate, would be felt.
