I've raised £1000 to send students from my school to work on a project in Ghana

I am the Head Teacher of a secondary school called The Farnborough Academy in Clifton, Nottingham. On September 29th I am running a half marathon for the first time in my life!
Our academy serves one of the most disadvantaged areas of the city of Nottingham but our amazing students are always looking for ways in which they can give back and support others.
I am determined that my students should get the same opportunities that students who live in more affluent areas get as postcode shouldn't be a barrier to the experiences we have or limit our ambitions.
We have been given the opportunity to send a team of students to work on a project in Ghana in October 2020. The project will involve them working with locals to support an orphanage that has been built up over the years by numerous students from the UK. This will represent an amazing a life changing opportunity for these young people, but, it comes at a cost as they have to fund their passage to Ghana and their time in the country.
The students are carrying out countless fundraising activities and giving up hours of their time and I would like to give them a helping hand. I am not an athlete and I have never ran this far in my life, but I have been training hard and now want to raise funds through sponsorship to help and support my students.
