Aid for Ukraine - Fast Aid Support & Transport (FAST)

FAST has been set up to help bring together all the small individual aid groups who are operating independently to help Ukraine. If you are collating donations and struggling to find help with transport, the FAST co-ordinated transport system will get your good to where they are so desperately needed.

Using the good offices of the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven I set about raising funds to buy aid and vehicles. A Sunday newspaper had reported that the Mayor of Kiev had received an ambulance from a German charity, and this inspired me to sell my classic car and use the money to do the same.

Since the end of November, we have used those funds to finance five trips with a front-line procuring and delivering an Ambulance ( renamed the Craven Angel by the Ukrainians ) , seven 4x4 vehicles a 7.5 tonne truck going over for the use of the emergency services and mine clearance. As well as fund a 25 Tonne artic for a Huddersfield based organisation.

We have also sent in excess of 300 sleeping bags, 200 blankets, 300 boxes of warm clothes, 200 generators, 120 aqua boxes of water filters, food, medical equipment, new baby warmers and much more, amounting to 60 Tonnes and around £500,000 pounds value.

We have spent well above our original personal budgets and are now seeking to raise extra funds to ensure that our life saving work can continue. If you are able to help in anyway with even a small donation we can rest easy in the knowledge that we have started something that will continue well into the future when, and if our prayers are answered, the senseless war ends and the people of Ukraine can start to resume their lives in their sovereign country.
