Currently there is 2.4m separated families in the UK and in 90% of these families the mother is the resident parent and the father only has limited child access. In this modern day of equality more fathers take day to day care of their children and if both parents have parental responsibility there is no reason why shared care orders should not be the starting pint in all cases where social services deem safe. The current system means fathers spending months if not years with limited access to their children.

With personal experience of this i have found there to be limited support or direction for day to day fathers in how to navigate their child access journey and also fund a court case which can be a likely path they find themselves taking.

We are raising funds to create an online tool to help sign post fathers through their child access journey and ultimately provide financial support for the likely court process that their journey may take them through.
