What is Fatima's Campaign?

There are more children in care now than ever before. Often taken or placed into care through being abused, neglected or families are simply just unable to cope. 70 children out of every 10,000 are entering the care system, and this number continues to rise.

At Fatima’s UK Campaign, we are working with schools, community groups, sports and leisure providers, constabularies, and councils to bring about positive and sustainable changes for these children and our society as a whole.

We want to support families and councils by providing exciting and positive activities, education, and experience for these children to lead a safe and fulfilling life, that then go on to help others.

I am drawing on my lived experience of the care systems; using my platform and past to create a nationwide campaign to amplify the voices of our children and young people, harnessing the power of "ONE VOICE", ensuring that they are heard and valued in settings where decisions about their lives are being taken with them. Let’s make a difference now and for future generations! We need to act now 🌟💓

The success of the campaign work will be felt most by children and young people, as well as be appreciated by the care systems’ workforce. With the care systems across all the home nations of the UK undergoing respective overhauls, now is the time to establish this Campaign to focus on unifying efforts across the care systems - working collaboratively to build happier lives and better communities.
