Over 35 years ago, a team of Faversham traders and locals of our town volunteered together to start the wonderful tradition of Christmas lights in Faversham‘s town centre.

In 2019 volunteers are carrying on that tradition to keep the streets of Faversham illuminated for the Christmas period, however we are also conscious of the environment so we are constantly updating our display with this in mind.

Although we do get a grant from our local council, the majority of our fundraising comes from kind donations, both near and far. We are grateful for any donation doesn’t matter how big or small this all goes back into the wonderful tradition that was started all those years ago - and long may it continue!
