I've raised £20000 to Help fund private life saving treatment for Faye to help her beat stage 4 cervical cancer.

Faye is a caring and positive 31 year old who has been sorely let down by NHS health professionals who have failed for years to diagnose signs of cervical cancer. It reached a head in February 2018 when after many trips to the GP she finally paid for a private consultation. But this wasnt the end. It took Faye to collapse in the street before an A&E gynae even ever mentioned the C-word. The official diagnosis was stage 4B cervical cancer which, in the opinion of a rather negative oncologist, is terminal. After 8 months of intensive treatment, that has also been fraught with a catalogue of errors, we feel there is no choice but for us to investigate private options to help Faye beat this.
Faye is a positive person, with a huge drive to fight and beat cancer.
To go on to raise awareness of what has happened to her and to help ensure it doesnt happen to others Faye has even started a blog whilst going through this ordeal - with the aim of helping others facing a cancer diagnosis to remain positive. Faye believes that a positive mindset can help her body fight cancer. “The mind is a powerful tool, it tells your body to heal, and if I truly believe that I can beat this then my mind will help my body to fight”.
The Positive Vibes Saves Lives movement is just beginning and you can read more at www.positivevinessaveslives.co.uk
