Story

FBCP 10k for £10... Run, walk, or cycle.. This is great opportunity to get out in the open to support a local Kent zoo that is in great need of your support! Whether your walking your dog, walking to the shops, running or cycling to keep fit, once you have done 10k, you donate £10! Its as easy as that. You until to 28/02/2021 to do it. You don't have to do it in one hit, you can do 1k a day for ten days! You wont only be raising money for Fenn Bell Zoo, but getting fit and looking after your mental wellbeing at the same time!

I have spoken to the owner of the Zoo and here is why the Zoo needs your support:

At the zoo it has been one hell of a year, four lockdowns resulting in a loss of £700000.00 worth of income and two major floods, what can I say. With over one hundred animals on site with special dietary and vet needs this has been a very testing year for the Zoo. Despite the government's pledge of a one hundred million zoo support fund which has turned out to be a false hope and a complete redherron, the zoo are still going and being run by the owners. The zoo are still going due to the great British public. It is the from the support of members of the public that has kept it going and kept our animals fed, warm and safe. The zoo have a bright future but at this time they still need your support to get them through to the end. What can the zoo pledge to their supporters? They can only make one pledge and that is to carry on fighting for conservation and the animals we keep here at the zoo. They stand steadfast in the belief that we can together create a zoo that supports conservation and will be here to offer you our supports a chance to come and be part of that.
