Story

FC Cavaliers was formed in 1978 with the intention to give mainly young Black British players the opportunity to play competitive football every Saturday,

Today the club plays at the Forest Recreation Ground (home to the world famous Goose Fair) and runs teams from Under 8's to our first team who play in the Nottinghamshire Senior League.

FC Cavaliers is proud to have supported young players into the professional game, however it's our work with the local community including players new to the UK that give our coaches and volunteer support staff the most pleasure.

We are currently trying to raise £6,000 to support ongoing running costs for the club (these include the purchase of a dugout, medical equipment and programmes etc) whilst also providing a hardship fund for players who find the financial costs of playing team sports the biggest barrier to pursuing their passion.
