Story
We are a local gymnastics club in Castleford. We train in a school hall and the parents have the glorious job of setting up and dismantling all the apparatus several times a week. All of our coaches are passionate volunteers. The club is run by coaches and parents who give there time freely to support our community. We have about 120 gymnasts in total with about 30 in competitive squads. We are called Featherstone gymnastics and we compete in friendly and regional competitions. The club was founded 30 years ago by John and Deanna Jefferies. Deanna and two of her daughters still coach at the club.
We are trying to raise funds to secure new premises and equipment to secure the longevity of the club.
All funds raised will go to the club and either towards new training equipment or new premises.
