I'm asking for the help and support of my amazing friends for a woman and child in dire straits. These people are very dear to me and really need all the help they can get.

Earlier in 2016, I raised money for a friend in need in dreadful circumstances. Following a phenomenal response to that campaign, I've been approached to help another woman in immediate need of financial support. I've given them a few bits to get started but I'm now hoping for contributions from those around me.

Having found the courage to leave an abusive relationship, and with her child in tow, my friend Mrs X was subjected to a 2 year campaign of terror and stalking. The abuser tried to kick his way into the home, left his car parked nearby just to send a message, put letters through the door, threatened to leave them in poverty... The abuser has changed jobs numerous times to avoid the CSA for child maintenance, resulting in thousands of pounds of debt. The wonderful child that came from this relationship, a friend of my M&Ms, had his presents taken away by his father with only days until Christmas.

Then, following a break-in, which occurred on a night when the victim was working and the child was with relatives, Mrs X had to abandon the home with only her child and whatever she could carry. Having spent months living with family, they're now looking to begin again with nothing. The house was trashed and nothing was salvaged.

Mrs X and her child have found somewhere to live but have absolutely no furniture, no belongings and nowhere to turn as companies come looking for the debt due to them and the abuser continues to avoid the system. All earnings of Mrs X are going to pay off debts for a home she no longer lives in and possessions she hasn't seen in almost a year.

I know money is a precious commodity, but if anyone reading this has even £1 to spare, it would go far in helping a family in a desperate situation. Thank you. FeeGee
