We are Feel Good ThrowBacks Radio Winsford. We have been on the internet and apps and alexa for around 11 months now and as we grow around the community we would also like to grow as a station. Our next logical step is to move to DAB. FM licences aren't being given out as from next year so it seems the logical step to move onto DAB

To gain this DAB status and licence we have to apply to OfcOM for our broadcasting licence as the licence is different to our current internet licence and for this we need £350 - this will cover the application fee (£250) and the first years licence (£100). and Cheshire DAB have said we can go on their antenna in Winsford and Winnington.

Going on DAB would be a massive boost to Winsford and the community - it would focus other cheshire areas on what winsford is all about and would also benefit the community events and places we go to to do our live broadcasting. DAB is also more widely available to people than internet is so we feel DAB is a logical choice.

We currently have around 7,500 listeners a month which for an internet radio isn't bad listening figures at all, however we feel would could and would get a lot more on DAB and of course advertising business we currently have would get more reach as well.
