I have started this fundraiser for my sister Felicia who is currently fighting cancer for the 3rd time at the age of 18. Felicia was firstly diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma at the age of 6 in the bone in her right leg. Felicia had the bone removed and replaced with metal. She was in remission for 2 years then the cancer returned again for the 2nd time in the same leg but had spread into the muscle. It had spread so much that doctors had no choice but to amputate her leg. She was in remission for 8 years! We thought we had finally beaten it! Last year in 2015 Felicia started to get horrendous pains in her chest. Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. Because of Felicia's history her doctor offered her a biopsy for piece of mind. Even though her doctor had been convincing us that the cancer had definitely not returned we still went ahead with the biopsy. 2 weeks after Felicia's 18th birthday and 2 weeks before Christmas we received the biopsy results and she was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma for the 3rd time in numerous areas arround her main organs by her spine and heart. She started her course of chemotherapy straight away. After the first few weeks of pumping a load of chemo through her body, she kept becoming very ill. Her immune system was so low she kept catching infection after infection. The final time Felicia was rushed to hospital extremely ill from catching an infection and spent 2 weeks in hospital trying to get better. Felicia and all of us as a family decided to stop her chemotherapy. We have been raising money for alternative cancer treatment. She has been to Mexico for treatment which we couldn't of done without everyone's kindness and generosity in helping us raise the funds. Alternative cancer treatment is very expensive, the Cantone family are asking for help to raise more money for alternative treatment for Felicia to get her well again and to beat this horrid disease.
