Story
WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY GIRL DESERVES TO LEARN AND GROW.
UPDATE: A million thankyou to everyone who has donated so far. This will make a huge difference in the quality of lives of these girls.
We now want to go further by giving these girls a long term solution, providing sewing machines and fabrics and teaching them how to make their own reusable sanitary towels so that they can continue to go to school, be well educated and enable them to be able to cater for their own needs for their whole life time.
OUR STORY: At Tosen-Nanyoh - a twin town at the Asuogyamang District in Ghana, not every girl has that opportunity because they lose at least 16 days a year in school due the poor economic situation of the community and not being able to afford sanitary towels. Having to rely on pieces of used cloth which is difficult to lay hands on in the first place and tree leaves. The stigma means they don't feel protective and enough to go to school.
We want to raise One thousand pounds to keep all 152 girls in school for a full term by providing sanitary towels, menstrual hygiene, education on menstrual health, independence and to feel in control. By giving just £10.00 you can help 5 girls to stay in school for a month to Learn and grow!
Please help our cause to promote comfort, good menstrual hygiene, education and independence to these wonderful girls at Tosen-Nanyoh Ghana.
Thank you so much!
