I've raised £1688 to support Pico's Pack dog sanctuary

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.
Many of you will know of my involvement as a volunteer with Pico's Pack, which supports abandoned dogs - and cats - in Serbia. Organisations like Pico's Pack help animals that would otherwise live in danger facing starvation, abuse and poisoning. Their lives are worthless to most and they have few allies.
Pico's Pack helps to feed, shelter and provide veterinary care for these needy souls; and to find loving homes in the UK for some of them. To find out more and to watch our promo video, please visit www.picospack.org or click here - Website
Ferdi was found in 2018 as an abandoned pup and taken to the sanctuary where he found love and care. I visited Serbia in October 2018 where I met Ferdi, was smitten and determined to find him a home in the UK. And so Ferdi began his journey to Scotland where he eventually arrived in October 2020 and has been living his best life ever since. He enjoys long walks along the beach, runs in the crags, visiting restaurants and of course, loves lots of sofa time. I am lucky to be very involved with Ferdi’s care and progress, and together we walk many miles around Edinburgh.
Ferdi is now embarking on a huge challenge to help his friends back in Serbia - and to give something back to the sanctuary that saved his life. Ferdi is going to walk 1688 miles which represents the distance from the sanctuary in Serbia to his home in Edinburgh. It will take many months for him to complete this challenge but he's hoping to raise at least £1 for every mile he walks, runs or zoomies. Over these months Ferdi will meet up with fellow Pico's Pack dogs and his other canine friends who will help him reach this milestone. And we are really hoping that Mira might be able to visit Scotland soon and join this boy on one of his walks. That would be magical.
We'll be posting regular updates on the Pico's Pack facebook page - Facebook Page
Please donate if you can and help these dogs who have few other means of support.
Thanks so much,
Julie and Ferdi
