Aberdeen fans are looking to create a spectacular fan celebration of the greatest Dons manager in their history. Sir Alex Ferguson will be the guest of honour at Aberdeen v Dundee United on 26th February 2022, to see the club unveil his statue.

We are hoping to raise funds to pay for the materials which will allow us to turn the Richard Donald Stand into a pre-match celebration to honour him in our own way.

The same team that helped create the Neale Cooper tribute display, numerous other semis and finals (2014 League Cup Final - ParkRED) and numerous other special occasions are behind this - encouraged by many messages since the club announced the unveiling. As always, we are donating our time and talent to this for free (we'll probably chip in a few quid too).

To get this going, and give Fergie the recognition he so richly deserves, we really need the backing of you - The Red Army.
