Story
This has come as a huge shock to all at FNH UK where he was a much loved, larger than life character who will be missed be everyone. Our thoughts and condolences are with his wife Rebecca and their children at this time.
Fergy joined me in 2010 at Manroy on his leaving the Royal Marines, during which time he conducted tours in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. He took on the role of Product Support for our weapon products, and bought in a level of experience, knowledge and professionalism that played a key part in moving the business forward. His responsibilities included the managing of all product testing, customer demonstrations and customer training, he particularly loved the interface with customers both at home and overseas and equally the customers had huge respect for Fergy and his product expertise. Following Manroy being acquired by FN Herstal, Fergy then became a well know character at FN Herstal in Belgium where he worked with the FN Herstal Product Support Team for a year in Belgium. Following this he returned to FNH UK at the beginning of this year to become our Product Compliance Manager.
It is devastating that at such an early age of 43, we should lose someone so respected, professional, enthusiastic and well liked.
Fergy will be much missed by everyone at FNH UK as a person and as a professional within our business.
Fergus leaves behind a wife, Rebecca, and 3 young children, the funds raised will go directly to Fergy’s family to try in some way to help them in this very difficult time for them.
This has been established with the permission of Rebecca and will be administered by FNH UK.
R.I.P. Fergy
