Hello! my name is Roser López Cruz - I am working with The Festival of Spanish Theatre in London, an independent cultural project, and we need your help. This Festival was founded in 2013, by Mariví Rodríguez-Quiñones. Mariví is a lecturer of Spanish at Kings College London. She has a passion for theatre, an area in which she has a lot of experience both academically and professionally. In 2013, she decided to take her dream of bringing Spanish theatre to the UK one step further and created the Festival of Spanish Theatre of London- a festival that brings renowned Spanish theatre companies to the UK, companies that otherwise would not have had the opportunity of reaching a British audience. Mariví has devoted both time and money to this cultural enterprise ever since. As I'm sure you know, a job such as this is never easy and money is always an obstacle, yet Mariví takes this as a challenge and as an occasion to prove that the arts always prevail. For the last 5 years she has surrounded herself with a perfectly coordinated and friendly team who share Mariví's passion and vision for creating this exchange between British and Spanish culture. We want to make sure that the festival continues for many years to come to the same level of quality at which Mariví has produced it in previous years whilst also ensuring the tickets are affordable for all. In order to do this, we ask you now for your support.
