Every year we host an event at the stadium called Festive Friends for elderly and vulnerable people & families who would be isolated or alone on Christmas Day.

This year, due to the impact of Covid 19, we made the decision that the only way to safeguard the health & well-being of our special guests, whilst still providing them with something to look forward to, is to take Christmas to them with our Festive Friends Santa Dash.

In partnership with the SPFL Trust and Salvation Army we will open up and utilise the kitchens at St Mirren Park and the amazing catering team from the salvation Army will cook a delicious Festive Dinner for all on our Dash list.

Our team, along with volunteer drivers from the Scottish Fire Service, will then deliver these hot cooked meals along with Christmas gift and delicious Festive Friends Christmas Hamper to everyone identified and referred to us from our community partners.

We will spend time, socially distant of course, having a chat with everyone we visit at their front door and then later on after dinner we will carry out 'Check In' telephone calls to all of them to make sure they enjoyed dinner and are safe and happy.

These funds will go towards the purchase of fresh food stuffs and equipment to allow us to prepare these hot festive meals and towards a gift for each of our guest list.
