Weʼve raised £200 to buy groceries for families in remote areas of Zimbabwe, during the Christmas season.

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
The £2 Initiative
Christmas is a season to give and support those less fortunate than ourselves. Our plan is to use the money raised to buy groceries for families in remote areas of Zimbabwe. A donation of just £2 can go a long way in spreading positivity during the festive season but any amount you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
Previously, we raised money to send books to a library in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe. The books were well received by the Mayor and the library staff (watch the video below). Thank you to everyone that donated and helped make this possible.

Thank you for your donations! We managed to raise £300. We collaborated with the Catholic Commission for Justice & Peace from the Mutare diocese. Groceries (cooking oil, sugar, rice, soap, salt, sanitary products etc.) were bought and packaged into 49 hampers. The hampers were distributed to families from Marange. The recipients were families that were moved from their homes in Marange to build diamond mines. They were relocated to areas without adequate sanitary systems or clean drinking water, resulting in outbreaks of cholera and typhoid.
