Did you know that men like women can also have breast cancer? but sadly while women are able to get free treatment from the NHS it is not free for men!

The cost to pay for the treatment/medicine that women get for FREE is between £50,000 to around £70,000

My father in law Mehmet Osman has been undergoing treatment for lung cancer stage 4 over the past 2 years which has not really been successful, he loves life and has a fantastic family who adore him, he is the back bone of our family and we are trying to do everything we can to save his life. He has listened to all the advise given from doctors and undergone all treatments/ medicines offered to him, he has even has travelled to Cuba twice for alternative treatments but sadly time is running out and funds are low

Myself and my family feel this is completely unfair and discriminatory as women can get this treatment for free yet men have to fight for their lives. On a personal level my father-in-law is in desperate need for this medication and this dilemma has only just come to my families attention We are devastated that at this crucial time in my father-in-laws life he is faced with such difficulties which only has a burden on his welfare.

We have also contacted our local MP as well as the mayor of London to make this change in the houses of parliament to give all men the equal right to fight for their lives.
