Story

I'm excited to say I'll be going to Cambodia in the summer to volunteer with the SAFE Foundation. The project is aiming to eradicate poverty in the Siem Reap area by giving local children the right to an education.

Many of the vulnerable children in the Siem Reap area have been forced into work early by their families to earn money in the poverty-stricken part of Cambodia, with no allowance for an education. We will be teaching numeracy and literacy skills in a local school, and increase awareness about the environment, social skills, sustainability and other fundamental knowledge essential for their future!

I would really appreciate any contribution to fund this project, big or small, to help these children learn in a safe and inspiring environment. I'm really excited to go on this trip, and would be thankful for any contribution.

Thank you! Ffion xx
