If you've been following us from the beginning then you'll know everything we've done has been to make The Fickle Pickle the best place it can be. From the big refurb in January to the full backline on stage so anyone can turn up and play we're always striving to make this place incredible.

Our next step is to build a green room for all the artists that play here. After discussion with our landlady and brewery they've been kind enough to give us an area in the back that we can convert into a backstage area for the bands giving them a safe space to prep, tune and relax before their sets. A green room will make a huge difference to everyone that plays here. And it will allow us to start booking some larger touring acts and bringing even more amazing music to Southend.

To make it happen we need to build a wall, decorate the place and fill it with all the home comforts you'd expect-sofas, a fridge, kettle etc.
