I've raised £10000 to Transform a space on our adjoining field into a safe and exciting fitness, play and sport area for our pupils and the community.

We are a popular two form entry school in Bradford. We have 420 pupils in our school. Our playground space is problematic as the footprint of the area is unusual and includes many spaces which are difficult to utilise effectively. It also has areas of sloping/uneven ground, as a result we have to stagger PE/break and lunch times to enable different year groups to utilise the space. There is no opportunity to engage in exciting healthy initiatives such as the daily mile.
At the side of our school is a large community field, we would like to secure a small area of the field with fencing making it safe and secure for our school to use. We would also like to transform this area with a MUGA and a running/cycle track. This proposed area will provide a facility that can be used before, during and after school In all weathers by a range of groups, including community and local business users. Our vision is to raise the profile of primary school sport in the local area by providing a facility that can be used within the local cluster of schools as a venue for inter-school competitions.
