Story
In November 2018, Jonny, Kirsty, his family and friends received the devastating news that Jonny has a very rare type of cancer called 'Pulmonary Meningioma' in both his brain and his lungs.
After being told the tumours are benign and then undergoing brain surgery to remove the brain tumour and months of "Radical Radiotherapy to his inoperable primary right lung", we got the great news the Brain Tumour had pretty much disappeared! Jonny and his family were over the moon, however, on Wednesday 19th June 2019 we were informed that the Brain tumour had returned and turned aggressive and now spread the Cancer to over 40% of his lungs and that there is little to none treatment in this country for his very rare cancer! his doctor quoted " I have explained unfortunately his lung disease has progressed despite radiotherapy. The pulmonary meningioma is a very rare disease (only a few cases in reported literature) and unfortunately behaving aggressively"
Jonny is a man who is not only having to live through this cruel and unforgiving ordeal but also, most importantly, he is a Father to his amazing son Aaron who is only 4, and a stunning happy baby daughter Lillie-Mae who is 6 Months old. He is the most doting, loving and caring dad as well as the greatest friend. He is loyal to a T and will do anything for those hes cares for, even if it means he does without.
We are looking to raise any funds possible for Jonny and his family in order to send him to a different country to undergo ground-breaking treatment programme and potentially save his life!
Please help us say a big F YOU to cancer and together we might actually be able to save more than just Jonnys life, but able to give countless more with this terrifying disease a chance too.
We are all behind you Jonny!

5 years agoHi Guy, Just a quick update on Jonny's progress since the last event. Since the last event jonny got told off his landlord he has sold their family home to his relatives and therefore Jonny & family have 3 weeks to move home, all this whilst going backwards and forward to hospital nevermind having 2 young children to look after on top of this! However Me, Adam, Mark & Sean plus jonnys mam and dad have helped move him and his family into there new house, fully decorated & all sorted so they can get settled before his hospital appointment!.
