Story

I will be stepping out of my comfort zone and have taken on the challenge to train for the next 12 weeks and will stepping into the boxing Ring on June 29th to fight for my colleagues Daughter Anna Poppy Lawson.

Anna is a typical little girl; she loves dressing up as a princess and looking after babies.

Unfortunately Anna was diagnosed with a medullablastoma in December 2017, shortly after her 2nd Birthday. Since then she has endured a 9 hour operation, 6 months of chemotherapy finished off by a intensive high dose chemotherapy where Anna was confined to a room for 5 weeks. Doctors were hopeful and offered her around an 80% chance of a cure.

Unfortunately, after her 3rd scan on February 4th her family received the devastating call to say that the scan showed a tumour in her spine.

Since then they have been told that this means her cancer is now metastatic and very aggressive. The only curative option would be for full radiotherapy to the brain and spine for 6 weeks but there is only a 20% chance this will work.
After that the nhs will only offer palliative care and Anna's life expectancy would be months.

The family are unbelievably thankful to the nhs so far but can not give up hope. They have spoken to other parents in the same position and understand that America has several different options for further treatment should radiotherapy be unsuccessful. The exact costs needed are yet to be confirmed until they know which trial would work best but know it will all need to be self funded

Time is not in their favour so we would be extremely grateful for any donations you can offer to help us save their beautiful little girl.
