Christians fight through NF1
Christian is a fun and cheeky 2 year old currently fighting through a disease called NF1 - Neurofibromatosis
It currently has no cure and around 1:3000 babies are born with it. It is a condition that causes nerve tumours, sometime's it can go without being diagnosed until someone is in their 20's BUT for Christian this is not the case.
He has to have regular scans and checks as his main tumour is located at the base of his skull near his spine. With this in mind you can imagine the pain and worry his parents go through waiting to see if it has grown and if so how much?
Hearing of the limitations, complications and fatalities a tumour in this area can cause before your son or daughter can even walk or talk is something I wouldn't even want to discuss, however, for our close friends Chris and Ellie (Christian's Parents) this is a daily fight and fear that they are constantly living with.
So many Children are born with NF1 and we want to raise money for awareness, support of the families going through it, support of our dear friends and my 2 years old little buddy Christian.
You can donate £1, you can donate 10p. That 2p coin you saw on the floor and walked past, PICK IT UP!!! We will be happy to receive that!!
If everyone in the UK could donate just 2p towards NF1 we would have £1,337,346.70 towards this devastating disease to help find a cure and support families and children like Christian.
On the 1st of June 2019 from 10am there will be a group of friends and family taking part of a 24hr gaming stream to help raise money and awareness of NF1
