I've raised £5000 to support Help Bristol's Homeless as part of the Airbus Charity Challenge partnership

Help Bristol's Homeless is one of Airbus's Partner Charities for 2019/2020, and we are proud to run this event to raise awareness and money for them.
Homelessness is increasing in Bristol, and Help Bristol's Homeless (HBH) (registered charity number 1181386) are on a mission to change this. They have developed a site with converted shipping containers, which are now self-contained studio flats, providing temporary accommodation until a service user can find a more permanent home, and giving them a chance to learn new skills and start again.
A group of 50 of us who work at Airbus plan to sleep outside for just ONE night, so we can gain some understanding of what it is like, and to raise awareness of the hardships faced EVERY night for someone without a home, and to raise vital funds for HBH. Funds that will help them give a homeless person a chance for change.
We will sleep outside our Barnwell House building on January 30th from 6pm until 6.30am the following morning. We will be sleeping on cardboard, on the floor, with sleeping bags and blankets, and open to the elements.
