Finchampstead Memorial Park is run by Finchampstead Management Committee (charity no 300152)It does not receive council funding. The rental of the Hall and Tennis Courts and Sports facilities fund the costs for the Hall, the Park, Tennis Courts & Play Area.

PLEASE HELP US REPLACE OUR BROKEN TENNIS COURT FENCING & UPGRADE OUR COURTS & NETS

As you are aware income & revenue have been very badly affected in 2020 and we are now reaching out to the local community to help us. Our tennis court fencing has recently broken beyond repair & a substantial amount of money is needed to replace it. We would also like to upgrade our courts.

During 2020 at the times when Covid restrictions allowed our tennis courts to be open as part of our Covid community support initiative the courts were free to use. There have been substantially more players using our courts during this time due to them being free & also as Sports Clubs were not open at parts of this time. We hope that having found our courts these people will continue to use them. However, to allow this to happen they need to be in good order.

The total amount that we need to fund is £20,000; which is made up of £15,000 for refencing and £5,000 for cleaning, re-painting and re-netting the courts.

We would welcome any donations to help fund the fence replacement and court upgrade that will enhance the tennis playing experience at Finchampstead Memorial Park.

We will also be registering our courts with LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) and will be using their CLUBSPARK online booking system when our courts are able to be reopened.
