Story
Please help us to find Georgina!
Georgina Gharsallah disappeared suddenly from Worthing, West Sussex on 7th March 2018 when she was 29 years old. Georgina is a mother, a daughter and a sister.
1. Georgina’s disappearance
The last sighting of Georgina was believed to be as seen on CCTV on the morning of the 7th March 2018 around 10am in Clifton Foods, Chapel Road, Worthing. See below.
However, 18 months after her disappearance, Sussex Police released CCTV of Georgina seen on the day of her disappearance with an unknown female in Worthing Town Centre at the bottom of Chapel Road around 4pm. Georgina’s mum Andrea has always maintained that the footage shows Georgina.
2. Sussex Police
Sussex Police have never acknowledged this very last sighting of Georgina with an unknown female as truly showing Georgina; but rather claim they can not be sure it is her. Is it because if they admit this is 100% Georgina shown in the CCTV, would it further confirm their failures in this case? As a review has shown 27 failures in total by Sussex Police, with the majority of their failures having been identified around CCTV.
*It is worth noting that an independent expert on CCTV has examined the CCTV footage and concluded with absolute certainty the footage shows Georgina Gharsallah with an unknown female*
3. The unknown female in the CCTV footage
The female who was seen in the footage with Georgina has never been identified; neither has she come forward. Who is the female? Where is the female? Why has she not come forward? It leads us to believe she may be from another part of this country.
THIS FEMALE MUST HOLD ANSWERS FOR US! She must be found! Georgina must be found!
4. The National Media
Unfortunately, although we ourselves have tried everything to highlight this case nationwide via several Social Media platforms, nobody has come forward to identify the unknown female from the CCTV footage. The local News media have run this case numerous times, but without any results so far. We have contacted the national media many times over the last 3+ years; however, the national media have so far ignored the case and outright refused to highlight this case; be it National TV News or National Newspapers.
5. Our fundraiser
Unfortunately, most missing persons cases are not reported on in the national media; including Georgina’s case. We feel we now have no other choice but to fundraise to enable us to pay for advertisements of this case in the national media. This is in the hope of finding the unknown female from the CCTV, who most likely will have some much-needed answers.
Someone somewhere knows who the female in CCTV is and what happened to Georgina. We need to find answers!
