Where do i start?
Jacob is almost 5 years old now. He hasnt had easy start in life. At birth he was born with VACTERL Syndrome. Which meant Jacob had a small hole in his heart, heart murmer, missing limb, club hand and curveture of his spine. Jacob has had many operations on his hand.
At 14 months old Jacob was then diagnosed with craniosynostosis. Jacob went through major surgery for his skull to be reshaped to release pressure and allow room for his brain to grow.
Then at 3 years of age Jacob was diagnosis with Autism. Jacob is non verbal, with difficulty communicating. Jacob doesnt understand or see danger. Our home is Jacob proof to stop him escaping out of any windows or doors.
Recently Jacobs Car safety isnt very safe anymore. Car journey are difficult. Jacob likes to get out of his car seat and seat belt. This is very unsafe. We are currently raising money to help fund a harness for Jacob during car Journeys.
