Story
Finkil Street Park, Hove Edge used to be a well equipped park in the heart of the community. Unfortunately over the last couple of years it has suffered with Criminal Damage, Vandalism and Anti Social Behaviour. As a result the park is no longer a safe place and Calderdale Council have taken the decision to remove parts of the playground. As there is no council funding available to replace these items with new more robust items of play equipment a community group has been created to fundraise to make the park a better place. This park is used by hundreds of children as it is in close proximity to two Primary Schools and a High School.. Please help us to raise money towards this. Thank You : )

6 years agoQuick update for everyone!.... we’ve raised £450 theough crowdfunding so far which is great but as we’ve been running the just giving page for 6 months it’s automatically stopped the fundraising. We’ll be setting up another page shortly and getting this money banked....you’ll see changes happening in the park already but theres a way to go yet so keep spreading the word! : )
